The Valdosta State Lady Blazer volleyball team concluded the 2007 season with a 10-25 overall record and were 0-12 in Gulf South Conference Play.
In 2006, VSU finished the season with a 21-15 record and were 7-5 in Gulf South Conference play. The Lady Blazers made it to the GSC tournament for the first time since 2000 and broke several school records. Two players were named to the All-GSC Teams.

Onushko Heads to VSU in 2009 VALDOSTA, Ga.- After a season that saw one Lady Blazer outside hitter, Irene Hannan, named to the All-Gulf South Conference First Team, Head Coach Sia Poyer signed another player with that kind of potential. VSU Downs Alabama-Huntsville VALDOSTA, Ga. - The Valdosta State Lady Blazers brought Gulf South Conference play to an end for the season with a 25-20, 25-18, 27-25 victory over the Chargers of Alabama-Huntsville.
