VSU Blocks Out Golden Suns SOUTHAVEN, Miss. - Valdosta State started the Gulf South Conference tournament with a hard fought 56-47 win over the Arkansas Tech Golden Suns. Michelle Thompson led the way with 16 points while Tamika Booker and Erin Keller scored 11 and 10 points respectively.
