Valdosta Athletics

Vaconna Hardin joined the VSU Athletic Staff in June of 2013 and has over 20 years of experience in the field of intercollegiate athletics at both the Division I and II levels. She is currently the Director of Ticketing and Game Operations.  Prior to VSU, she was the Ticket Office Coordinator at Brown University in Rhode Island for two and half years.

Vaconna began her career as an intern with the Atlanta Hawks/Thrashers in the Community Development Department. Additionally, she has held internships at Central Michigan University and the University of Tennessee at Knoxville.

Vaconna earned an Associate of Arts degree in Journalism from Georgia Perimeter College. She then completed her Bachelors of Science degree in Sport Management from Kennesaw State University. She also holds a Master’s of Science in Sport Administration from Central Michigan University.  As a native of Knoxville, Tennessee, she has always been an avid fan of all things University of Tennessee and a proud dog mom.
