BASEBALL

The VSU baseball athletic training room is located in the Billy Grant Field House at North Campus. This athletic training room is utilized for baseball practices and games. Please enter the field house through the front door, walk straight in, go through the reception area, and you will see the athletic training room to the right. 

The athletic training room will open 1 1/2 hours prior to the start of the game.  Other considerations may be made in advance. 

Modalities available:  ultrasound, hydrocollator, ice bags, electrical stimulation, and extremity compression pump.

**If team is unaccompanied by an ATC, please notify our staff at least 2 days in advance and provide written directions for care of student athletes as well as supplies. Following GSC policies, if the team is not accompanied by a Certified Athletic Trainer, treatments will be limited to non-electrical modalities.

1. Emergency Equipment/Services:
   will be located adjacent to the VSU dugout.
   Biohazard materials will be located in each dugout.
   EMS is on call.
2. Fluids: 
   water fountain located in dugout
   (If you want a cooler for fluids, please contact the ATC 24hrs prior to the game)
3. Ice:
   1 flat in dugout with ice bags
   

BASKETBALL

The VSU PE Complex Athletic Training Room is utilized for basketball practices and games. The athletic training room is located on the North hallway (locker rooms are on the South hallway) of the PE Complex.

The athletic training room opens two hours prior to games. Other consideration may be made in advance. 

Modalities available: ultrasound, hydrocollator, ice bags, paraffin bath, electrical stimulation.

**If team is unaccompanied by an ATC, please notify our staff at least 2 days in advance and provide written directions for care of student athletes as well as supplies. Following GSC policies, if the team is not accompanied by a Certified Athletic Trainer, treatments will be limited to non-electrical modalities.

1. Emergency Equipment/Services:
   will be located behind the home team bench.
   Biohazard container will be located at bench.
   EMS on call.
2. Fluids:
   1 10 gal cooler on bench with cups
   1 6 gal cooler in locker room with cups
3. Ice:
   1 flat on bench
   

CROSS COUNTRY

The PE Complex Athletic Training Room is utilized for cross country meets.  The athletic training room is located on the North hallway (locker rooms are on the South hallway).  

The athletic training room opens 1 1/2 hours prior to meets. Other consideration may be made in advance.

Football Sidelines

1. Emergency Equipment/Services:
   Equipment will be located behind the home team bench.
   Biohazard container will be located at bench.
   EMS on site in NE end zone.
   Non-emergency transportation available
   One examination/treatment table
2. Fluids:
   4 10 gal coolers on bench
   water source on sideline
3. Ice:
   2 lg lined trashcans with additional ice
4. Other:
   Ice towel buckets available as needed
   1-2 host athletic training students
   radio communication with a host ATC

Football Locker-room

GOLF

The VSU PE Complex Athletic Training Room is utilized for golf practices and matches. The athletic training room is located on the North hallway (locker rooms are on the South hallway).  

The athletic training room services must be scheduled with the home ATC.

Modalities available:  ultrasound, hydrocollator, ice bags, paraffin bath, electrical stimulation.

The VSU softball athletic training room is located in the Softball Field House at North Campus.  This athletic training room is utilized for softball practices and games.  Please enter the athletic training room through the 2nd door on the Right at the back of the building.
