Pre-Valdosta State: Batted .310 with one home run and six doubles as a senior at Woodstock High ... Led the Wolverines to a County championship and the 2008 Georgia State playoffs, the first team in school history to advance to the playoffs ... Stole 15 bases.

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2009: Played in 37 games, starting 12 of those contests ... Batted .324 on the season, collecting 12 hits in 37 at-bats ... Scored eight runs while driving in four ... Counted two doubles among his hits ... Drew seven walks while striking out just six times ... Was successful on five-of-nine stolen base attempts ... Committed just one error in 45 chances, a .978 fielding percentage ... Had a season-high two hits on two occasions, against Saint Francis (Ill.)
