Football Team to Host Blood Drive On Thursday

Blazers Strive to Donate 500 pints of Blood

VALDOSTA, Ga. -- The Valdosta State Football team will hold its annual Blood Drive to benefit the American Red Cross this Thursday, April 3.

The event will be held on the Mezzanine in the P.E. Complex and will run from Noon until 8:00 p.m. Those interested in donating to the blood drive are encouraged to stop by the P.E. Complex during this time.

Over the last couple of years, the Blazer Blood Drive has ranked as one of the largest in the Southeast, raising in excess of 350 pints in each of the last three years. This year, the football squad has set a goal of 500 pints of usable blood for their blood drive.
