Livingston, Ala. - The Valdosta State volleyball team fell to the No. 25 team in the nation, West Alabama, in a Gulf South Conference match on Saturday afternoon. VSU lost 3-0.
West Alabama (19-1, 5-1), who lost their first match of the season last night against West Florida, defeated VSU (9-14, 0-6) in three straight sets 30-16, 30-24, 30-25.
As a team, the Lady Blazers tallied 26 kills and 19 errors in 128 attempts, leaving them with a .133 hitting percentage, as compared to UWA's .231 percentage (56 kills, 25 errors, 134 attempts).
