Volleyball Splits At West Georgia TournamentLady Blazers defeat St. Andrews PresbyterianValdosta, Ga. - The Valdosta State volleyball team split two matches at the West Georgia Tournament on Friday, September 7, in Carrollton, Ga. The Lady Blazers (4-4) defeated St. Andrews Presbyterian in four games, losing the first game 30-21 but coming back and winning the next three games 30-21, 30-25, 30-22. VSU was not as successful against Eckerd College, falling in three straight games to the Tritons, 30-9, 30-21, 30-32. The Lady Blazers continue play on Saturday afternoon with a match against Fort Valley State at 1 pm and another match against Gulf South Conference opponent, Christian Brothers at 4 pm.
